Earth Hour: Plunging the World into Darkness

by Lucy Hagger

Tomorrow is the day! At 8.30pm on March 23rd 150 countries will turn off their lights to show their concern for our environment.

With a record breaking number of countries taking part this year, thousands of millions of people will be turning their lights off in towns and cities all over the world.

Grander acknowledgments will be taking place with landmarks all over the world plunging themselves into darkness. London’s Houses of Parliament, USA’s Empire State Building, Tokyo Tower, Sydney Opera House, to name but a few will be switching off tomorrow.

Add you house to that list and switch off for WWF’s Earth Hour!
